Here's the first part of Mason's
last show (September 11 and 12, 1972) recorded from an in-station feed on a
WAKY "skimmer" reel. Quality is excellent, although as with all skimmers, the
recording was started when Mason turned on his microphone, and stopped when
the microphone was turned off.

listener. You hear the last few breaks of music programming, then nearly all
of the final "Mason Dixon Line" talk show -- which went into overtime
