This drawing of a large "tin
ear" was done by Ray Redman, who did some of the decorative lettering
for the WAKY surveys. The drawing was commissioned by Johnny Randolph's
first wife in the late 1960s. Ray says, "It was a big rusted ear made of
riveted plates like an airplane." The picture was framed and resides in
Johnny Randolph's home studio today.
